How the publisher is using Brand View to boost brand visibility across its network.
Kevin Rehberg, Vice President, Client Development
GateHouse Media, one of the largest publishers of local media in the U.S., recently launched AAM Brand View profiles for all their AAM media properties, increasing their total to 71 profiles available in AAM’s Media Intelligence Center.
Brand View helps publishers share images, video, promotional text and high-impact graphs and charts alongside AAM-verified data. In the second half of 2018, Brand View profiles saw 92 percent more engagement over other Media Intelligence Center activity such as viewing PDF statements.
The GateHouse team focused on creating a consistent look and feel across profiles for all titles, and the profiles exhibit some best practices we’ve seen. Let’s take a look at a few profiles to see how GateHouse Media is using Brand View to share their comprehensive brand stories with media buyers.
The Providence Journal
The Providence Journal uses its overview page to highlight its offerings to advertisers, including audience reach across print, online and mobile devices. In addition to easily connecting advertisers with their digital marketing team via a quick link, the Providence Journal’s audience tab gives an overview of reader demographics including reach by income, age and gender.
The Columbus Dispatch
This media company serving the Columbus, Ohio, market features a media kit link on its landing page to give buyers quick access to advertising information. The Columbus Dispatch also includes tabs for audience, affiliated publications and digital for a detailed look at all aspects of their brand.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune
The Herald-Tribune uses its overview page to blend company history with community flavor through video, images and descriptive text. The Distribution Map makes it easy for buyers to get a visual of the publication’s distribution along the Gulf Coast and easily see which ZIP codes currently have the highest household coverage.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal
This news media company serving Florida’s Volusia and Flagler counties uses its print distribution tab to feature a snapshot of its total audience. The publication’s custom Brand View link makes it easy to share this information with anyone, even those who do not have access to AAM’s Media Intelligence Center.
