November 5, 2018

More frequent data will make it easier for buyers to analyze market reach.

Quarterly county-level data for U.S. newspapers is now available in the Newspaper Analyzer. Effective with the September 2018 reporting period, users may now analyze data by county, Designated Market Area (DMA) and Core-Based Statistical Area (CBSA). Changes to the methodology makes it easier for news media companies to calculate county data and quicker for AAM to deliver the data to users.

Users of AAM’s Media Intelligence Center can find this information located in the Newspaper Analyzer. The data is only included in September 2018 quarterly reports; no historical information is available.
